this live was definitely a little more serious and reflective than usual, but i found it to be very fruitful :) sharing more of my life story—and not just what i interact with—my journey with my invisible disabilities, neurodivergence, and education systems, allowed me to show you how all of the struggles i’ve gone through have led me here <3 it wasn’t easy getting this vulnerable, but i hope this can help someone and that you get to understand what IOD is a little better.
i also talked in depth about the mission and vision i have not only for this space, but how i want to foster real change through my work and life. if you don’t want to listen to the whole 2:15h (i always let these run way too long oops), go to 1:45:00 to listen to my hopeful rambles about the future.
i’ll leave you with this quote:
Hope is a moral obligation.
a few things are shifting around here starting this month, so be on the lookout ;) if you want to support this vision, this space, and of course, have full access to IOD, consider upgrading your subscription!
